Yes, there is something to be said for the wild imagination of puppies that I don't find with them now that they are adults. Now it seems it takes more brain work on my part to entertain them and it is easy to miss the innocence that was. :)

Pop bottles are the most fun! Those things make a lot of noise and can scoot really fast across the floor. Plus, they make great tug of war toys...at least for a little while. lol
That's pretty much exactly the reason I teach Pre K!
Puppies, like humans, learn the ways of the world too quickly and their beautiful innocence is lost. At least, unlike humans, it is not usually replaced with suspicion and lack of trust. Your furbabies were such wonders.
