As I was hand feeding Fiona today, I started thinking that ten years from now I this may become a regular thing with this Ms. Fussy and was washed over with the wonderful thought of us growing older together. And the beautiful gifts that will come from sharing our lives in concert with each other dancing through time.

What a lovely idea. Dogs just give you love so being together for many years makes life much easier to handle.

We have a fussy boy here too. Handfeeding works sometimes with Phantom. Mom says she would handfeed him forever if it would be a way to get him to eat. Sweet pic of Fiona.

That reminds me of how I thought Treat was going to be such a fantastic older dog. It didn't come to pass, she died too young for that, but I know she would have been quite a diva old lady!
Yes, as cute as puppies are, older dogs bring their own sweet gifts. I hope you and Fiona have many years of happy times together.
What a beautiful thought! And the amazing thing is that the dance never grows old or tiring.
All of the White Dogs we adopted have been seniors and though the dance is sometimes a little stumbly or not always graceful, it is ALWAYS incredibly magical.
