This is my perch. Best seat in the house.
It is great for watching the squirrels and rabbits go by, but there is even a better reason.
My previous owners used to lock me up for longer than I care to remember and would leave me there.
I was trapped within four walls and it seemed like forever before they let me out.
Here's why this is the best spot. I always get to see Mommy and Daddy leave, but even better than that, I get to see them come back. And they always wonderfully come back.
Mom says it was the answer to my severe seperation anxiety.
Who knew? All I know is that it's still the best seat in house!

I wish that could be the answer to Charlie Brown's separation anxiety! But everytime I so much as leave the house to take the garbage out he instantly begins to howl in a panic, running all over the house, scratching at the doors, jumping on the couches, cranning to see me out the windows... and then of course, running to the back window where he can see my car- to see if I am leaving. If he sees me get into my car, he really freaks out. And when he sees me come back- he gets just as upset too, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! I WAS SO WORRIED!"
Ugh... I am leaving for a week in February to go to conference and I have no idea what I am going to do. I am so worried about it now too!
And, the color matches you! It's great that it's helping you with your anxiety.
Wooo,

Maybe it wasn't even separation anxiety - more like claustrophobia! Yay for the view!
Hurro, very nice to meet you. You has great taste in seating positions. I like the back of the sofa too.

How nice of your humans to color coordinate that sofa for your furs! We love watching out the window too. And isn't it just such a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that you will never be left behind?
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
That looks like a furry cool place to lay; and you look quite comfy!

That looks like a wonderful seat, and even better that you match!
I just wanted you to know that I wrote about the "24 Paws" today in my blog. Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope it brings more readers to your wonderful blog!

What a lovely spot!!
That does look like a great seat or the best seat in the house. You can snooopervise everything there.
Our Mom feels the same way your Mom does about all you doggies. We have a bunch of cats here plus two dogs and we are definitely family and not just animals. She rescued almost all of us. Great blog here. Glad to meet you.
There is a little kids song that goes like, "My mommy comes back, she always comes back, she never will forget me!!" You should sing that song to yourself while you wait!
I'm glad Blaze got over the separation anxiety. Aschiuta also likes to stretch her giraffe neck and look out the window.
Just proves how different dogs are. When Shiva could see us leave, it made her anxiety so much worse. She would be howling before we even reached the door. I am glad you have found something that works for Blaze. It is not an easy thing to work with, for the dog or for the humans.
These photos are adorable!
Hi Blaze,
That's my favorite spot too. I had separation anxiety too and the vet told my mom give me jobs to do, so one of my jobs is to look out the window!
Thanks to you and your pack for the award! I put it on my blog so stop by and check it out dude!
Woof!
Kirby
I know exactly what you mean! I LOVE looking out our front window -- I get to see EVERYTHING!
Woofs & hugs!

My dog Kelly perches on the back of the couch to look out the window too. I'm glad you can see your mom and dad come home to you!
What a great spot! and you fit there so nicely:)
Hi Y'all!
Wow, I'd be afraid of fallen asleep and fallin' off that perch! Think I'll stick to my beds.
Y'all come by now,
